He has written extensively (including seven books), served as editor-in-chief of two national counseling journals, and coproduced a film on elementary school counseling. He was the founding editor of The Journal of School Violence and the founding coeditor of the online publication, Meridian: A Middle School Computer Technologies Journal. He has developed a variety of Internet projects, including, the School Counseling Activities Network (SCAN21st.com), Succeeding in School, Succeeding in Science at School, and Genesislight.com.
