Step 4 - - Revising Your Ideas

 

After you have thoughtfully and patiently checked the first summary of your ideas against the reality of counseling in today's schools, think carefully about how you want to revise the original one to two page document you wrote.

Once again, open your favorite word processing program and begin revising your original ideas. Remember few words are better than many words. Express yourself simply (to the point), energetically, and creatively. Your revised document should be no more than one or two pages long.

Print your new document. Read it. Put it aside for a day or two. Read it again. Revise it if you wish.

When you are reasonably (not perfectly) satisfied with the revised document you have created, we invite you to share it with the world. Move to step 5.
